Roost for the Day
For 5th graders entering middle school in 2010/11 school year:
Special 5th grader Roost for the Day Dates:
5th graders are invited to shadow at The Roost on selected days throughout this school year.
Join the current Roost students for a day of Roost activities on these dates during regular Roost hours (3:15 – 6:00)

- Monday, April 5
- Friday, April 23
- Monday, May 3
- Friday, May 21
- Friday, June 4
Look for the Roost Banner at the top of the stone steps in the center of the Sunnyside Methodist Church building on the Yamhill Street side of the building. Ring the upstairs youth room bell or Swap Shop bell for access.
During Camp Fire’s afternoon program time, parents of 6th-8th graders have the option of allowing students to arrive and leave on their own but we ask all parents of visiting 5th graders doing a Roost for the Day to drop off and pick up students. One parent can bring or pick up several 5th graders as long as all 5th graders not accompanied by their own parent have a completed permission form.

Swap Shop Family Nights at The Roost :
Any Friday night throughout this school year, your whole family (and a friend or two) can experience the whole community that makes up the Sunnyside Swap Shop Co-op. Affordable, home cooked meals are served in a casual style from The Roost kitchen 5:30-7pm and the gym is open for free play for all ages (toddler to teen) from 6-9pm. No RSVP needed. Ring the upstairs youth room bell or Swap Shop bell for access.
Joining the Roost -
Save $25. When you join by the end of the 2009-2010 school year for next school year, the annual $25 joining fee will be waived.
